This new circuit combines beautiful landscapes and the Andean men's lifestyle adapted to the geography and we will visit one INKA lookout post strategically located in the APURIMAK's canyon. In the journey we will have a variety of climates and vegetation, surprising us with pleasant contrasts.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:

We leave Cusco to Huanoquite, one antique village, here the road ascends until WILLKAKUNKA pass it means holly throat with 4200 meters about sea level. Continuing until deep valley, where is the precious woodland LORETUYOQ, we can see ancient native trees like QEUÑA where lives the spirit of the woodland. Near we have a lunch, then is possible to see all the woodland like a green fluffy rug, going to KUSIMARKA where we can visit an antique Andean water mill of grains and appreciate how it works. It is placed at 2700 meters about sea level and the name means happy place. Where we will camp even next day.

Day 2:

After the breakfast. We leave KUSIMARKA, ascending going to the VIEWPOINT, a good place to take pictures of the Andean landscape with APURIMAQ canyon. We continue between 3900 and 4100 meters about sea level, this amazing and peaceful scenery until VILKABAMBA hamlet. Where we will camp even next day.

Day 3:

After the breakfast. We leave Vilkabamba hamlet and another landscape opens out before arrive ROQO hamlet. The mountains in front of the hamlet give us special sensations because they look like near us. The track looks like a long balcony to T’IKAHUERTA one Inka lookout post; where we have the lunch. We follow the track, again the vegetation and temperature changes. We will stay overnight in Toctohuaylla.

Day 4:

On the following day after the breakfast, we continue in bus to YAURISQUE where we will visit its hot springs. Coming back to CUSCO, in one point is possible to see AUSANGATE snow mountain an important Inka deity after we arrive to CUSCO.
