Tour Description
You will enjoy a total adventure always in touch with the nature. We will be able to practice the mountain biking with soft slopes and descents from 4200 to 2300 meters about sea level enjoying of varied landscapes. On the following day a trekking taking down to APURIMAC river, to keep on with more adventure this time using a boat of gum for 3 days, where really will feel all your adrenaline.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1:
Leaving CUSCO toward Yaurisque village we find the first peasant’s village out side CUSCO called Oq’opata. In YAURISQUE we take the bikes starting a road with flats, moderated slopes and bridges arriving to MOLLEMOLLE hamlet. Then we ascend in zigzag to HUANOQUITE village watching all the valley. The road continues and ascends until WILLKAKUNKA pass, it means holly throat with 4200 meters about sea level (by car).
Continuing until deep valley, where is the precious woodland LORETUYOQ, we can see ancient native threes like QEUÑA where lives the spirit of the woodland. Looking the green fluffy rug the road continues descending to WANKAWANKA and ROQOTO hamlet by soft descend going into the Apurimaq's canyon. Roqoto sounds like our chilli pepper famous in the Peruvian cook; where we will camp even next day.
Day 2 to 4:
After the breakfast, we leave Roqoto hamlet by an antique bridle path through a forest descending to start river rafting on the Tolking God river, APURIMAQ in native language. This is the embark place and starts the adventure on boat during 3 days and 2 nights in a stretch of the Apurimaq river’s canyon until Wallpachaka bridge. Floating, running rapids classes II to V, and camping on river beaches. The return in bus or another motor transport take approximately 4 hours to CUSCO city.
